Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-27
1. Who we are
Welvik is an Amazon-marketplace agency operated by Muzimuzi LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, registered at 8, The Green, Suite B, Dover, DE 19901, USA, Delaware Division of Corporations file number 10523257. For the purposes of the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we act as the data controller of the personal data described in this Policy.
For any data-protection question or request, contact us at contact@welvik.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data in three ways.
First, data you provide via the contact form on our site: your name, email address, phone number, company name, Amazon store URL, monthly revenue range, main problem description, monthly budget range, and your message.
Second, analytics data collected by Google Analytics 4 only if you grant analytics consent: pages visited, referrer, approximate location (country and city), device type, browser, and anonymised IP address.
Third, marketing and advertising data collected by Google Ads and Google Tag Manager only if you grant marketing consent: ad clicks, conversion events, GCLID identifiers, and remarketing audience signals.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you.
3. Why we use it (legal bases)
We use your data to respond to your contact-form enquiry. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps taken at your request under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries under Article 6(1)(f).
We use Google Analytics 4 to analyse site usage. The legal basis is your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a), captured through our cookie banner.
We use Google Ads for ad measurement and remarketing. The legal basis is your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a).
Once you become a customer, we use your data to meet legal and accounting obligations. The legal basis is legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c).
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use two categories of cookies in addition to those strictly necessary for the site to function. The banner you see on first visit lets you accept or reject these non-essential categories. Your choice is stored in your browser and applied via Google Consent Mode v2.
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function — routing, language switching, security — and cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies cover Google Analytics 4 identifiers and are off by default.
Marketing cookies cover Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags and are off by default.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing the welvik_consent_v1 entry in your browser's localStorage, or by emailing us.
5. Who we share data with
Personal data may be shared with the following processors, strictly for the purposes above: Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, who provide Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager; Hostinger International Ltd., who provides our hosting; and the email and CRM providers we use internally to process enquiries.
International transfers (for example to the United States) rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable.
6. How long we keep data
We retain contact-form submissions for up to 24 months from your last interaction with us.
Google Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months, the default Google Analytics retention period.
Marketing and Google Ads data is retained for up to 13 months for remarketing audiences.
Customer billing records are retained as required by applicable tax law, typically between 6 and 10 years.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data deleted under the right to be forgotten, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner or by email.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. EU and EEA residents may contact their local Data Protection Authority. UK residents may contact the Information Commissioner's Office. Israeli residents may contact the Privacy Protection Authority. California residents may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@welvik.com. We respond within 30 days under the GDPR, or as required by your local law.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data: TLS 1.2 or higher for all data in transit, restricted access on a need-to-know basis, and regular security reviews of our hosting and analytics stack.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or by email to existing customers.
